The Hillhouse Scholars Program provides partial tuition scholarships and mentoring opportunities to high school students from the greater New Haven area who have demonstrated academic excellence, leadership potential, and financial need.

The Board of Directors of the Hillhouse Scholars Program is pleased to announce that Anna Drejer-Teel will be serving as the Director of Mentoring for the calendar year 2007-2008.
The Hillhouse Scholars Program graduated its first class of Scholars on May 26 and June 3, 2007. Some facts on our graduating class and their accomplishments:
Katherine Schulte, a third year Yale Law School student, was awarded the James Hillhouse Award for her exceptional work as a mentor in the program. Ms. Schulte was nominated for the award by her Scholar, Nia Mote, and the Board of Directors approved the nomination. Ms. Schulte has decided to devote her $1000 award to the college education of Nia.
